      Red face Hello!

Hi :) my name is cake and i'm excited to meet likeminded people and learn many new things!

I am a total noobie in lucid dreaming but I've been reading a little bit about it. Once, I experienced being aware that I'm in a dream and then I tried to control the events; I tried to conjure a person and I succeeded, then I touched the person and felt the warmth and texture of his skin as if in real life! It was awesome and terrifying at the same time and I actually panicked, but I would like to try it again someday with more knowledge on how to handle it.

I also tend to remember most of my dreams in vivid detail, and sometimes (but rarely) I can also hallucinate on demand, but I don't really know what I did to make it happen. I find these things fascinating so I'm looking forward to share stories with people having similar experiences and maybe someone already has an explanation so I will lurk around in the meantime and read what people share here :)

thanks for reading and have a great day! :)

Welcome to the forum! Lucidity can definitely be surprising the first time you have it, especially if you don't really know what it is. But there's plenty of resources here to help you learn more and be ready for when it happens again.

Let us know if you have any questions, and feel free to stop by the IRC chat.
