      *insert-alphabet-here*ILD

      Hey guys.

Anyway I had a lucid dream for, like, 3 seconds this morning and I just wanted to know what method of induction I used as it is rather hard to find out which one it was from the tens of thousands of different acronyms.

      Here's what happened:

I had a dream that I cannot seem to recall, but anyway my maid woke me up from that dream because I had to go to school. I checked the time and everything and I was sure I was awake and it was morning. I normally take another short nap after she wakes me because I'm always sleepy. So when I fell asleep, i dreamt:

I had a dream where this old man was going around hypnotising people to do his bidding and because I knew of his evil plans I closed my eyes and covered my ears to prevent myself from being hypnotised. Suddenly I was back in my bed (false awakening). The old man was still around, in my room, and he walked to my belts and picked one to whip me with because I did not want to get hypnotised by him. Upon his hitting me, I woke up. I was not lucid at all during the dream.

I was rather frustrated because it was so obviously a dream but I did not notice it. I checked the time and ten minutes had passed since I fell asleep the second time. It was soon time for school but I'm normally late for classes so I thought, "ah, whatever." I was so frustrated that I actually told myself, "go to sleep now, and have that dream again". It didn't take long to fall asleep and the exact same dream happened! The old man was already holding a belt in mid-swing and I became lucid and i pushed him away. In all the excitement, I woke up, which is why I said the LD lasted 3 seconds.

Sorry for the long-winded story! So yes, Now I'm wondering what kind of induction method I used. There are so many _ILDs that I'm quite confused.

Sounds like a type of DEILD (Dream Exit induced lucid dream.) Waking up out of a dream, then falling asleep and going back into it.

All are either WILD, DILD, or EILD, all the rest are just variations of those three.
