      Turning on the lights

I heard from that movie "Waking life" that your not supposed to be able to affect the lighting in your dream by using the switch. So when I tried it as a dream test one time, I was surprised to see the lights going on and off. Has anyone else had this experience?

if you expect it to change it will if you dont expect it then it problably wont change but if your lucid and you wanted to change the lighting why would you want to use a switch come on there has to be a better way like pulling a finger or kicking the wall get creative

i dont mess with light in my dreams just let them be they usually are better anyways
you can't do that on the internet!.... wait yes you can do it again!

Yeah, usually if I want something to change I snap my fingers, But I was just curious to see what would happend. If I've learned anything yet, its that anything is possible with a little work.

Seeing the exact opposite of things could be a very enlightening experience. You'll have to let me know if you ever get it to work.

I've played around with lights before just for fun.

I used a light switch at first. And it turned on a completely different light than the one I was trying to turn on.

Then I created a whole ceiling full of lights to try to make the room really bright. The interesting this was of all the lights I made, only about 30% of them were lit up. So I sat there one by one and pointed at each and every unlit one turning them on until they were all lit up. Took me a while

I had a non-lucid dream the other day working on a plumbing repair. I had a drop light that had a switch, dark colored button and a light colored button. I pushed each one and the light would not work. I missed this as being a dream sign because I did not believe that the saying was true. It is on my list of dream signs now.
