Lets Volunteer!

I'm an Architect, Artist & Designer. I'm classically trained, but nowadays I work with both physical and digital media (damn this modern world). If you guys need any help with specific stuff, I would be happy to help. I'm always mad busy, so I doubt I could organize anything too complicated. If you give me specifics, I will crank it out. Physical media I normally stick to Charcoal and Oilbars (messier the better, right?). I'm also experienced with pen/ink, photorealistic pencil rendering, watercolor, ect. Digital media, I can rock Photoshop, Corel Paint, Autocad, Sketchup, Maya. I normally slam together a mix of whatever it takes to get the job done. No time to be a snob. I'll dig through my portfolio tonight to find some sample stuff that I don't mind getting stolen, and that I can post without getting sued. I do not do any web design or coding. None of that adult stuff for me. Just the coloring books Its been a while since I did anything hardcore in Maya or Sketchup, but its like riding a bicycle, right? I've been avoiding volunteering here for a while because I always have so many projects on the boards. Time to stop being a dick, i guess. Let me know if anyones working on anything fun they want some help with.

In October I got a job as Animation & Illustration Designer for an architecture firm. I quit last month! (three months for me isn't bad actually haha)

8-5 office sucks the life out of everything. Doesn't matter how much you love it. Just make shit and sell it. Or partner up with someone to make shit and sell it. You're in a field where you are actually selling your skills, not just your time. You can do things that few people on the planet know how to do. Plus, its one of the few fields that tolerates... eccentric... people. If a client walks into my studio and finds me with a beer in my hand, 3D glasses on my face, and a melted box of crayons in the microwave, they just say, "This guy must be gooood."
