this is a song that I wrote about my search for a girl in heaven, I wrote this in the summer of 2010 en we recorded it in December 2012 in the studio with a digital portable TASCAM 8 track recorder, here is the link to the song, it's called: Don't Fear Me Now and the band I play in has the name Lilith Moon.

thank you for your feedback and thank you for listening, we are a band with a female singer and I play rhythm guitar, and we have a solo guitarist who is also good with rhythms, a bass player and a drummer, so basicly 5 musicians, we didn't play since March 2016 and we are going to pick it up again in a few weeks, we also covered Comfortably Numb by Pink Floyd on the day we recorded the Don't Fear Me Now video, I think it's nice to give the link to the coversong here:

Good job, not my kind of music. But I listened to the whole thing. I'm not up-to-date on music genre... is this what they call progressive rock genre? Sorry, just curious. ^^

That's cool. I'm about to go and check out the link now. I went through a really big Pink Floyd phase several years back and loved that tune from The Wall. Thanks for sharing! Good luck with getting started back up again soon, too. I hope that goes well.

Lucidbunny, thank you for listening to our music, it is not progressive rock, it's more like pop/rock, I wish we could play progressive rock, that is awesome, my favorite band in this genre is Dream Theater, the inventers of progressive rock.

Zelcrow, thank you and yes, I had my Pink Floyd periods too, mainly at the end of the eighties when they released Delicate Sound Of Thunder, awesome!

Not to be a nit picker (Ok I lied ) Dream Theater may well have created Progressive Metal, but Progressive Rock started in the early 70's - as far as I know with the first album by Emerson Lake & Palmer in 1970, though there may be others a bit earlier (I'm not an expert). Nit sufficiently picked. I'm happy now.

Ok, I had to look it up. Haven't really found a simple answer as to who the 1st progressive band really was, but apparently King Crimson was among the first to be considered that, in 1969. Wiki page on it for anybody who cares: Progressive rock

Darkmatters, thank you for the info, I really thought that Dream Theater did invent progressive metal, but it goes way earlier than that, I read the article a bit and am surprised that Dream Theater is not mentioned in the article, Queensryche is with their Operation; Mindcrime album, that puzzles me.

Hey there,

I realized that the girl I am looking for is not in heaven, but is inside of me, I was looking for her by the means of meditation and mystic breathing techniques from 2007 on but never found her, but I had a dream a few weeks ago that I didn't write down and made me realize that she was inside of me.

To explain this a bit, I fell in love with Diane in April 2007 when I met her online through Tagged, a forum. Then she died at the end of May 2007 or beginning of June 2007 and then I wanted to look for her in the realms of the dead, I thought she must have gone to heaven so my search was aimed for heaven. So I did my mystic techniques based on thousands years old yoga techniques and the result is that I never spoke to her (I just heard her voice speaking my name on June 2nd 2007, when I was crying over her in my room, I heard her voice in my head).

So the beginning of a new episode in my life has started a few weeks ago since that dream.

I picked up meditation, mystic pranayama (breathing techniques), chanting and following a spiritual morning program called Mangala Arati (online) since October 2018 in order to come closer to her and the result was this dream which I never wrote down and through which I realized that she was very near to me, namely inside!!

Anyway, in order to celebrate this happening, I uploaded a song written by me and the lead gitarist of my band, called "Ride On" and it is a song about the future which has started a few weeks ago with this realization that she is inside.
