Main Cast


Frank Keep
Role: Main character
Bio: A 21 year old male in an apartment with his roommate Adam. Together they make a dysfunctional pair of best friends. Frank has a girlfriend named Alison. Frank is interested in math, movies and 80’s music. He has brown hair and green eyes.

Adam Trite
Role: Main/Secondary character
Bio: A 22 year old male in an apartment with his roommate Frank. He is best friends with Frank but together they form a dysfunctional pair. Adam does not have a girlfriend but is secretly in love with a girl named Tara but hasn’t got the guts to ask her out. He has blonde hair and green eyes.






Alison Betty
Role: Secondary character
Bio: Lives in the same apartment building as Frank and Adam and visits them often. She is 20. She is Frank’s girlfriend and has blonde hair and blue eyes and is incredibly stupid.


Tara Murphy
Role: Secondary character
Bio: Lives with her parents. Has brown hair and brown eyes. Has no boyfriend but is secretly in love with Adam and hasn’t got the guts to tell him how she feels.

[Frank walks into the apartment as Adam is cooking sausages]
Frank: Hey Adam. Wattcha cookin’?
Adam: Sausages.
Frank: I hope you haven’t burnt them… again!
Adam: Don’t worry. I know what I’m doing.
[Frying pan goes up in flames]
Adam: *scream*
Frank: Really?
Adam: Yeah, that was meant to happen…
Frank: Really?
Adam: Yeah!
Frank: Really?
Adam: Yeah!!
Frank: Really?
Adam: Shut up!
Frank: Really?
[Alison walks in]
Alison: Hey hun!
Frank: Hey baby!
Adam: Hi.
[Adam gets completely ignored as Frank and Alison kiss]
Adam: Hello!
Alison: Oh. Hey Adam.
[Alison goes back to paying attention to Frank. Adam gets ignored once again]
Adam: Ok…
[Adam leaves set]
Alison: Hey, I got you a present!
Frank: (Un-enthusiastically) Yay.
[Alison hands Frank a red package with green polka dots on it]
[Frank opens the package in which is a pair of socks and undies]
Alison: You like them?
Frank: You have to be kidding me.
[Alison looks hurt]
Frank: I mean I love them!
[Adam walks back in, sees the underpants and stands still]
Alison: Great! Try ‘em on!
[Adam walks off the set]
Frank: Ok.
[Frank walks off the set]
[Adam pokes head out of doorway]
Adam: Is it safe?
Alison: Yep.
Adam: Ok. Cool. So, what have you been up to lately?
Alison: Well, I just got back from the-
[Frank walks in with only undies and socks on]
Adam: Oh God no!
[Adam covers his eyes]
[Silence]
Frank: Well this is awkward.
Alison: Agreed.
Adam: Agreed!
[Frank walks off set]
Adam: Jeez.
Alison: Yeah, sorry.
Adam: Wasn’t your fault.
Frank from the distance: Oh come on! It wasn’t that bad!
Adam: I beg to differ.
Frank from the distance: Really?
Adam: Yeah!
Frank from distance: Really?
Adam: Don’t start this again!
Frank from distance: Really?
[Cut to next scene]
[Scene set in Local Coffee Place]
[Frank, Adam, Alison, and Tara are sitting in one booth]
Adam: So did any of you see the Eagles beat the Bulldogs last night?
Frank: No.
Alison: No.
Tara: No.
Adam: Oh. Well it was a good match.
Frank: Really?
Adam: Do you know how ANNOYING you are?
Frank: Yes. I do believe I am quite annoying.
Adam: Yeah.
Tara: Well, I wanted to watch it.
Adam: Rea- I mean… Did you? Too bad you missed it.
Tara: Yeah. Oh well.
Frank: So anyway, I was watching Comedy Central Presents last night and this comedian had the funniest joke ever! Ok here it goes: “Isn’t it odd how T.V dinners are called T.V. dinners? I mean, who eats them in front of the television?” *laughs*
[No-one laughs and Frank begins to explain but just trails off]
Adam: That doesn’t even make sense! The only place I eat T.V. dinners is in front of the T.V.
Tara: I know! It was a pretty bad joke Frank.
Frank: Well, I didn’t make it up so don’t blame me.
Adam: You thought it was funny though.
Frank: But I didn’t make it up!
Alison: Who cares about the joke people!
Tara: I’m with Alison. People have different senses of humor. Anywho, what do you say we all head down to Adam’s apartment? This place is boring me.
Adam: Ok I’m in.
[Frank and Alison look at each other, acknowledging that Adam and Tara like each other]
Frank: Well, I might go to Alison’s apartment.
Alison: Yeah. You two enjoy yourselves now!
Adam: Wai- *in squeaky voice* Ok… *in squeaky voice*
[Cut to next scene]
[Next scene is in Alison’s apartment]
Alison: How do you think they’ll go?
Frank: Well, I remember when Adam liked this other girl back in high school.
[Flashback to high school]
[Adam is playing basketball and looks at Elise, the girl he liked back then]
Adam while dribbling the ball down the court: Hey Elise!
Elise: Hey!
Adam still dribbling the ball: So, do you wanna go to the da-
[Adam hits the pole holding up the hoop and drops the ball]
[The most popular kid in school, Jake, comes up to Adam, who is half unconscious]
Jake: Nice one, dork.
Adam: *indecipherable gibberish*
[Returns to present]
Frank: I think he’ll do fine.
Alison: Oh great! It will be so good when the two of them are together… we can go on double dates.
Frank: Yay...
Alison: C’mon it’ll be great!
Frank: Sure will.
Alison: It will!
Frank: Yep.
Alison: Gosh. Anyway, do you want to check up on them?
Frank: Yeah, sure.
[Cuts to Adam’s apartment and Adam is on the lounge watching T.V. and Tara is by the kitchen bench reading a magazine]
Alison whispering to Frank: I thought you said he’ll do fine!
Frank whispering to Alison: I was wrong ok!
Tara: Hey!
Alison: Hey!
Frank: Yo.
Adam: Hey guys.
Alison: So, you guys been talking?
Adam and Tara at the same time: Nah, not really.
Frank: Oh, well… that’s cool.
Alison: Yeah, coolie cools.
