I had to produce a piece for my Music Mastering in Synthesis class that fit stereotypical electronica standards. Tell me what you think.

That is some really cool stuff. I love the feel/texture of it. Tell me how you do on it for the class.

Pretty cool. I dig the experimental/down-tempo nature to this. The eerie ambience was nice, just wish some of the parts evolved a bit more. They became a tad repetitive... *shrugs*

Most of the electronica i've listened to (not that much) is pretty repititive, so that didn't bother me. Thanks for reminding me of the word I was looking for. I wanted to comment on how I love the ambience of the music, but I wasn't sure if ambience was the right word (I still have no idea what it actually means).

ambience means background noise (in a nutshell)

Yeah, I'm thinking about developing this piece further. As I said, it was just a project for class. I'll probably mix up some of the ideas I have going on, but I don't want to introduce any more synthesizers. I like the simplicity it has right now.

I meant more like evolve the synth lines. You basically have the same few phrases throughout.

The rack is fine if you're not doing performance (but I'm assuming that's what you do, haha)

Yea, we do a lot of live stuff so quick accessibility is a major plus

I am not really into electronic music. But it sounded just fine. Kind of normal, nothing special. But not bad or anything.
