      My 3D work.

First off I would just like to say hi to everyone in this community, first post/thread. I'm learning a lot about Lucid dreaming (despite only having a few short ones where I haven't been able to control myself ) But I'll get there eventually.

So anyway, I thought I would introduce myself to the community and at the same time showcase some of my artwork, so here are my 3D works.

I mostly use Maya, however my brother has 3ds Max so I had a go at that (result(s):

      and an unfinished guitar

      Work in Maya:

M4a1 with Grenade Launcher and Tactical Equipment (no texture, no idea if I'll ever texture it)

      Mix of Maya and ZBrush

      (screenie from ZBrush)

Maya viewport shot of pipes for an indie game I work on (I'm an environmental artist, I don't know if I'm allowed to post links and considering it's my first post I won't).

There is more but this is probably already image heavy.

So yes, little bit about myself:

I'm a 15 year old male from Australia, aspiring to be a Game Developer/3D Artist I enjoy:

      - 3D modelling
      - Programming
      - Writing
      - Music (Piano, drums, sax)
      - Sport (Basketball, Volleyball, athletics)
      - Parkour

My name is Steve, and... well yeah. Hello to all.

      O_O

You've got talent, kid. Keep it up and you'll go places.

I write myself and wouldn't mind seeing some of your writing as well.

Nicely done, is the tank turret rigged?
Does the red guy have subsurface scattering or is that faked with your diffuse shader?

You're 15... how can you afford Maya or do you have the student version?

      Ninja:

The red guy is in ZBrush (trial), the material is the default ZBrush material.

Also my dad said "If you can make money using it, or make a career out of it I'll be happy to spend the money on it" (talking about Maya, so yeah I plan to make a career out of it and once I get a bit better sell some models on turbosquid).

That's amazing work. You should finish it all with textures, backgrounds, and pose it to look better on screen.

Wow! Excellent tank model you got there! The ship is great and the pipes look uber realistic! Guns are awesome, same with the face!
