O, it was the blood I was hoping people would particularly notice. It tops off the piece. The paint is Red Velvet, in case anyone wanted to know. Same stuff I used on the wall here for the oriental dragon.
Loaf, I'm glad you feel that way considering I was carrying an M16 and a sword in the image. Calm madness. Yes. Yes.

This next one is a watercolor that was done as a V-day gift for a friend I had
taken to. I never gotten around to passing it on. We already weren't that fond
of the day itself, I had just figured it would have been clever, especially in
light of what's going on in the image. "Here's my heart, quite literally!"

Bought an Intuos4 graphics tablet today. Loving it so far.

My buddy's druid. I think I can get used to this.

For my sister. Sort of an inside joke.

Post 32# is cool.

Thread was also renamed due to their being a problem with the fact that a lot
of what I'm drawing is based off of something else, so some things are NOT my
concepts/designs. That should have been done a long time ago.


Following was inspired from watching Princess Mononoke and seeing the
forest spirit in his other form at night. Simple.

I REALLY like that last one. I need to summon that thing next time I'm lucid.

Crossbows, mate.

Plus the coat should be dragging on the floor. His hands shouldn't be visible, either.

For more accuracy, I should be shooting either him or a troll in the shoulder.

When I drew it I had forgotten where the idea came from (that being Kiza's
story), so I didn't get everything true to the story. I actually made it a coat
out of laziness, too, but the sword was totally intended. I'll have to try
crossbows next time.

How did you sculpt the concrete? If you don't mind me asking.

I made a negative out of cardboard and duct tape. Poured the concrete in layers to allow it
to set every time, so as not to cause the cardboard shape to burst at the seams from too
much at once.

Fanstastic stuff! You have a very diverse range of mediums used, and that's really nice to have up your sleeve.

I especially love the wire scultpures of the elements, they truly do reflect what they have to represent, and I'd be able to point them out immediately even if they didn't have a name attached to them. All around great stuff!

Loving the new stuff, man! Looks like you're really putting that Intuos to good use! The druid especially, nice.

[edit] I didn't get to properly thank you both for your input, so I now say thank ye. Spenner, I'm glad you recognize the wire sculptures for what they are, I tried to give them the life appropriate of each element as best I could in wire. MoS, thank you too. I'm loving this thing.
