      Tell me about Sleep Paralysis

I have had 4 (FOUR!!!) bouts of SP within just a few days. 3 occurred in one evening.
I saw my pdoc earlier and he said they could have been brought about by stress or by stopping my meds cold turkey.
Whatever the reason, is there any way to assure I wont have any more episodes (within reason lol)

I usually sleep, first on my stomach, then I switch to my side at some point. During all of the SP episodes, I was on my back with my ankles crossed (not sure where my arms and hands were).

I realized it was SP each time, but I was still too griped by terror (an oppressive sense of evil) to calm down much. I focused on my birds and eventually fell back to sleep.

      Any tips?

Sleep paralysis does happen more often when laying on your back. I am not sure how effective it would be, but you could try laying some pillows besides you, and that might stop you from rolling over. Which would probably help.

You can also just keep telling yourself that nothing can harm you while in sleep paralysis before you go to bed. If you try thinking of it as a positive thing, and repeat that before bed every night, hopefully the fear wont come over you when you experience it.

Thanks for the reply. I was beginning to worry about DREAMviews

I slept fairly well last night, so hopefully the episodes are over.
It's annoying that it's so scary even though I know what's going on lol
