Thread: Tell me.. what are you "anal" about?

Aargh, text speech. Fortunately no-one has any excuse for it any more; they can use predictive texting, or if they txt so much they need to save money they should get an information age phone and use proper email instead. So not only is it fair to laugh at ppl hu txt spk, anyone who still uses it is behind the curve. Hah!

I do prefer proper English, but if I can read it I'm not that bothered. There *are* forums filled with nothing else; if I choose to come here - or anywhere else - I'd better accept what people are using as language.

No, I think I'm most anal about science. I just spent far two many characters splitting hairs between "mass/energy conversion" and "matter/energy conversion". And then go read sci-fi which with gravity waves travelling faster than light... sigh.

My worst automatic habit is fiddling. And I like to leave my fingernails relatively long for a guy. So everything I get my hands on eventually ends up with bits snapped off or missing. Or... er, chewed.

I'm that way about my socks, too. They've gotta be just right, and pulled up firmly. And I have a similar thing with stepping on cracks, though that's gotten better in the last couple of years.
