They just seem, on the whole more sincere and devoted than English girls. And they have higher values and morals, and the accent, OMG I would so be under the thumb, if I had an American girl lol

Hmm, interesting. I could say the SAME EXACT thing in reference to British vs American men - meaning I think Brits have higher values and morals than Americans (and OMG @ the accent!!). I guess it's all relative - maybe we only THINK the grass is greener on the other side, when in reality it's no better. Because honestly, I have no idea what would give you the idea that American girls are better in that department than British girls. That's very interesting though.

Yeah maybe you are right.. Maybe it just seems the grass is always greener on the other side. Guys over here are, urm.... Well in my experience, don't treat girls as good as they could. And in my experience the girls are just as bad, so maybe I am just hoping they are better? lol

haha, I'm not trying to talk you out of it or anything, but I think any girl, American or British, would be lucky to have you! And if the American accent does it for ya, then go for it! Believe me, you will have NO trouble picking up chicks when you come here, lol

Exactly! Which proves my point about American women not having higher morals or values than any other women, lol

You do realise that in movies and books dialouge is usually (unless for some type of effect) kept as pithy as possible, which means that they dispense with "hello", "goodbye", "how are you" etc. and keep right at the heart of the matter, e.g. "I've just realised how they embezzled from the firm! And I think I know who did it - it was arrgggh, arrgghhh -".

wow you Americans and your silleh words!

" ha ha ha Adam you tripped over a chair!" ( snickers)
      " What...you want a snicker Joe?"
" No... apparantly it's a way of sniggering but for Americans, it has nothing to do with the chocolate bar. Anyway your not supposed to be able to hear how i'm laughing.."
Lugggs and cuddles and hugs for all!!

Do you always hang up the phone without saying good bye? I have noticed on American TV shows and films, that people will hang up without saying goodbye. Is this just in the movies, or do you guys actually do this?
I know a few people who do that, and they are punks who are trying to act like they are too cool to say goodbye. It's a pathetic attempt at dominance and power by people who have none. Pretty much everybody here says some form of goodbye at the end of a call. My farewell phone word is just, "Bye."

The top executives usually have the highest floors, and the CEO usually has an office on the top floor. It probably has something to do with the symbolism of climbing the corporate ladder. However, most Americans don't work in corporate office buildings.

American women sometimes make giggly comments about English accents, but that's about it as far as it goes with the Englishness itself. However, there are a lot of English men that American women love. Have you ever heard of an English theater actor named James Scott? He now lives in New York and plays a villain on the soap opera Days of Our Lives. He has the Days of Our Lives female fans going nuts on a level that rivals cult leader charm.

There is a little more regular beer than light beer at pretty much every store that sells beer. I never drink light beer.
How do you know you are not dreaming right now?

is it true that you prefer dark beer to light?

and is it true that you have little pointy horns and pitch forks?

      You mean English?

Yes, we have tea everyday, its like a ritual, wake up with tea, sleep with tea.

Yes we all have very bad teeth and all we want to do is shag, have you not seen Austin Powers?

Yes, Dark beer is preferential, in fact, what is light beer?

Not little, but big pointy horns in fact. and yes, predominately we all have pitch forks, but you have to be over 18 to carry those. And even then you need a licence...
