      Tell me about the worst...

      ...sound you've ever heard. Simple enough.

      For me, it wasn't one I heard first hand but rather in a movie. The sound of someone putting their teeth on a curb, just before being the recipient of a curb stomp (American History X). I don't think it was the actual sound itself, but rather everything the sound carried with it that made it the worst I've heard.

      Probably the squeakiness of wet hair if you sort of pinch some in between two fingers and slide your fingers down... Every time I think about this sound, my ears start to feel very uncomfortable, and I have to try to shake it off somehow. It's happening right now as I type.. BLAAGGHHH.

      Not really a particular sound, but when listening to music with head/earphones, and the music only plays through one phone drives me NUTS. Not so much if I only put one in, but if they're both in and only one works. Insanity plea right there.

      The crunch sound my heel made when I stepped bare-foot on a circle on metal spikes. It sounded a lot like biting into an apple. Just thinking of it makes me nauseus.

      Daeva's certainly takes the cake for me so far.
      Anything to do with teeth. (Bounces on chair and shakes fingers while pulling a face.)
      But my oldest sister used to be a medical sales-rep and she had this live video of a hip replacement.

      Bonesaw+thighbone=bad sound.

      Holy jesus, definately agree with you on that one. Everything else I can ignore - even the scraping of a chalkboard - but loud chewers piss me the FUCK off. Seriously, I used to yell at my sisters whenever I'd catch them.

      This brings me to my next point, the sound people make when they chew their nails! My friend always used to do that and again I'd always get mad at him.

      I hate the sound of dentists' equipment!! The dental drill, electrial toothbrush, the little tube device that blows out water mist, then sucks it back up. Ugh.
