Well, I'm learning japanese and Kanji, so I just write and read it over and over. |

I know Portuguese and English (both native), and a bit of French. I took a class on Japanese at my Uni, but have since then decided to learn Korean. I am a Software Engineering student, and am only learning a language during my spare time. With that, I need to find ways to study at home and by myself. |

Bollocks.
That's the method my friend used when he took the Japanese class. I guess I can give that a try, but the real issue with Korean is the speaking ;o |

True, I'm not even close to putting together sentences. |

learning conversational languages just takes some time, learn basic greetings, numbers, the definitive and infinitive articles etc. Basic word order, question words and how to pluralise are also important, they should get you some basic know how |

If you can, stock up on Korean movies/shows/cartoons, anything like that. Even if you can't understand it, hearing it will help, and each time you watch something, you'll be able to catch more and more words. I too am thinking about learning Korean. |

Like what Mes said, You could turn some of your favorite movies on to the Korean Sound dubs, or put on Korean subtitles. |

Bollocks.
I'd like to learn some Korean. At least enough to know what move my TKD Master is telling me do without having to see it. Apparently, you have to know all that by black belt. |

I haven't heard of BYKI but I will take a look at it. I'm also thinking of making my own little app with c++ on my journey adding and learning things as I go along with it. |

Oh right, How could i forget. You'll want to see this website for free Korean lessons. |

The best way of learning is total immersion. Many people can't do this. So I find studying it in every way you can (music, television, formal classes, flash cards, handwriting, typing, chatting, etc.) is the most helpful. |

And experience it as a place to visit and play with reality.
You are becoming aware of yourself as a game master.
