Thread: tell me about morphic resonance

i wasn't sure exactly where I should have posted this... I guess this will work.

I was watching the clip from waking life, that i'm sure a lot of you have seen, where they were talking about the crossword puzzle study http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Km5YG...eature=related
I know that people have done studies like this, whether it's exactly the same as they were talking about in the movie or not. Anyway, then I read somewhere that morphic resonance and collective memory has something to do with it. But when I search it's not really coming up with anything useful to me as far as what it has to do with collective memory Just the fact that the scientist (rupert sheldrake) that came up with it isn't exactly taken seriously by colleagues, but I would still want to know what he's talking about.
anyone have any clue what i'm talking about? and if you do, do any of you think that the studies might actually be proving the idea of collective memory right? or do you think it's just a coincidence?
