I let out yelp and instinctively took off my houseshoe and hit it. Well it must have been pregnant cuz all these baby spiders shot out of it and started crawling around!! To say that it freaked both me and my son out would be an understatement!!

Wow! Ok lol.

People are scared of everything. I am not scared of spiders. In fact, last night I picked up a harmless wolf spider and put him back outside. I will however kill the 2 types that can harm me and those I love if I see them. But I rarely see them around my home.

You can dispose of dangerous spiders just as well as wolf spiders just wear gloves. why kill them?

It's ok to be scared of spiders but why kill them? this is the thing that bothers me. If you're scarred just walk away.

If a dangerous spider is in your house use caution and dispose of him with protection it will help you conquer your fear.

I only support killing for food or if your being attacked. (No you're not getting chased by spiders.)

Of course if you live in exotic places you might need more than gloves to dispose of spiders.

Because they look weird. Alien. Nonhuman. Not like us at all, and we hate that.

Who is scared of insects in general? I'm certainly not. Granted, I wouldn't want to keep one as a pet, but that's a far cry from being afraid of them. I wouldn't want to keep a cat as a pet either .

Fish don't look at all like us either. Who here is scared of fish? Anyone?

Plenty of people dislike cockaroaches, praying mantises, all kinds of beetles, etc...

Fish generally have two eyes, a mouth, limbs we can relate to and perform many processes we do. Plenty of fish are creepy looking. Take the Alligator Gar, for example. Weird looking fish.

Why? There's lots of reasons to kill things.

I hate bee's and wasps, and generally most flying things! I think it's more to do with how small they are and yuk!!

Antyway, spiders are evil, I take their lives compulsively.

After having 2 of the buggers crawl on my face in our pool, and after seeing one about 10 inches big behind my sisters head, when I was younger, I can't help but be freaked by them. I actually keep a can of fly spray near my bed.

While it is quite funny, creeps me out quite a bit because I live in Australia and the ones in my house use phoenix downs. No joke, several spiders i've killed with fly spray (I mean crawled up and everything), have gotten up like an hour later and left.

Hate the damn things.

EDIT: After writing this and seeing that picture again, I have become paranoid that there might be a spider near me. Now I don't wanna sit down
