      Ask me about Mortal Kombat

      I know everything about ever character, every detail of every storyline, every realm, arena, weapon, and special move. What would you like to know?

      Side note: I have not gotten my hands on the latest MK vs. DC game, and frankly, I'm not too excited to get it anyways. It is not canon, and I'm really disappointed that it's not a traditional MK game. However, if you have any questions about this game, I'm sure I can still answer most of them

      What is the deal with "Smoke"? I always hated having to enter the cheat to unlock him.

      Well except for MK vs. DC, all the games are pretty much equally violent (unless you got a crappy home port). As far as originality and coolness, I'd have to agree though. They definitely could use some more creative fatalities. Ed Boon (co-creator of MK) said that MK9 will be darker and grittier like Gears of War, so we can probably look forward to some really gruesome fatalities.

      Well Smoke first appeared in MKII, but he was a hidden "Easter egg" character, so he required you to input a special code. He also needs a code to be unlocked for MK3. MK has always been all about the hidden easter eggs and secrets. He didn't appear in MK4 or MK: Deadly Alliance, however he did appear in MK: Deception and MK: Armageddon, but was unlocked the normal way just like the other characters.

      Why was it that when you died, you fell into a pit of spikes? That scared me as a child. I would run to the console and turn it off before I got stabbed to death.
