Congrats, who can blame you becoming lucid with strippers around lol, one really encouraging thing is the you didn't wake up! I'm still trying to work on making my lucids last |

okay, i have been trying to lucid dream for about a month now and I haven't had any success with WILD or DEILD. I can't do the ones where you wake up very well, because I'm a heavy sleeper and have school at 6 so i can't afford to. Anyway, i hadn't had luck with DILD, but i heard about MILD and the similarity. So I tried it last night. I chanted the mantra in my head maybe fifty times saying "i will do a reality check while I'm dreaming". When i started getting tired, I just kept thinking about doing a reality check when i dream. I did maybe two or three reality checks yesterday. And i lucid dreamed! I woke up that morning and felt like i hadn't even remembered a dream, then it all came to me! I remember walking around with strippers, sorry i didn't make it that way. Anyway, i suddenly had the thought, "do a reality check!" So i plugged my nose, and boom, i could breath! So please don't get mad, i didn't have a whole lot of control, but i did it with one of the girls. And then i vaguely remember seeing a TV with an ESPN ticker, and it said the Yankees beat the Red Sox 48-6. |

DILD = 4 DEILD = 1 FILD = 1
Basic TOTM = 1 Advanced TOTM = 0

Goals:
Have a LD [X] Have a really clear LD [ ] Fly [ ] Fly into a black-hole [ ] See the big bang [ ] See God create light [ ] Be in an episode of Big Bang Theory [ ]
Congratulations on your first lucid. I also had trouble getting more than marginal sucess untill I tried MILD, it's a very reliable method when done right. As for wishing you'd done more, you will untill you get a better hang on in-dream self control, it will be difficult but it just takes time. They key is to pick a goal when you're awake, and resolve to persue it the next time you are dreaming. You're much more likely to remember it this way, if you try to decide while in the dream chances are you'll forget about it and go with your first impulse. |
