I've found this to be successful on a few occasions.. It is radically different from a typical sort of WILD, its almost a MILD, but not. Anyways, I'll go into it, and see if others have had success.

Ok, here goes. Goto sleep, pick a reasonable time.. not too late, between 10-11pm should be good. Now, say to yourself, you have to get up, you don't know why, but make yourself think you HAVE to get up. The first time I did this was by accident. I set an alarm, and strangly enough.. woke up 10 minutes before it was supposed to go off, and I NEVER wake up in the middle of the night like that. So I've tried this other times, its not 100% successful, and shouldn't be tried every night, I think that would dull the effect.

Even stranger... when doing this, it pushed REM sleep back many hours. Within 4 hours (least for me was an amazing 2 hours), you can have very powerful LDs, not like late morning ones that are very easy to get excited and wake up.. these, its ENCOURAGED to do alot, and are very hard to wake up from by accident (or even on purpose).

Sometimes.. you partially wake up.. and go into a sort of WILD cycle, thats much more intense then any late morning ones i've had.. usually these hit at 1-2am, its amazing.

I wanna see if anyone else can have any success doing this sorta thing. To be able to manipulate sleep cycle at will is very powerful.
