      That ringing sound

I just found out a good way to attain lucidity AND IT WORKS!!!!

when you go to bed make sure that you are not overly tired because your mind would be to tired to notice anything. Once your in your bed and your not overly tired relax and close your eyes and MAKE SURE ITS QUIET IN THE ROOM because the quietness is a big factor in this. while your eyes are closed and its dead quiet or quiet as it is possible youll start to hear a ringing or buzzing sound in your head (dont worry its natural) once you have that sound happening focus on that sound and only that sound. after awhile (maybe 10 min) youll feel your body kinda vibrating if its doing that thats a good sign if you dont feel it yet keep focusing on that sound. once your body is vibrating dont unfocus on that ringing sound untill you cannot hear it anymore (your asleep) while your sleeping if the vibrations are tripping you out just ignore it its just a steping stone to know were you are in the process. youll know your lucid because your body will feel and look like its rsing (your sleeping) dont panic while that happends your set just take off to were you want to go.

let me know how it turned out for you.

It might be WILD persay, but fender is simply trying to express another anchor to use while trying to fall asleep. You usually should focus on something and thats something different to try.

There are hundreds of versions of WILD, that one I haven't heard of, so thanks for you input FENDER.

The human mind has far greater potential than society has conditioned you to believe.

Oh I gotcha. You are right. I guess that it just comes so natural to me that I figured this was the way everyone has WILDs.

yeah I found this idea off a website, I was just looking around the internet and I came across this. If there is anything I left out plaese say it because I tried it 2 times after I posted it and it works. (For me at least)

Brilliant!!! Focusing on that ringing in your ears! (I know exactly what you mean). It sounds way better than focusing on some elusive thoughts! I'll try it.

Now that I realize it there has always been a ringing sound playing in the back of my head. It is even when I am awake. It gets louder when I fall asleep. I never have vibrated, but I think that because of this constant sound it is the reason I have been able to become lucid all my life.

there is also a strange feeling you can get if you squeeze your eyes shut in real life.. the same feeling is different in a dream.. and it serves for me a dual-purpose.. one to relize if i am dreaming.. and two to wake up if i focus on squeezing my eyes shut.

If I squeeze my eyes shut in real life, I see these weird yellow dots. I tried Fender's method for the past couple of days, and I have had more vivid dreams, including one partially lucid dream. I think it's because I made my room totally silent by putting my computer on standby.

im going to try this method out. Usually when I WILD I try to ignore that sound because I find it destracting. Maybe its best to let it destract me eh? hehe

Hey I have that ringing sound also, but I never thought about concentrating on it. I always have tried to surround myself with some kind of white noise to drown it out. I think I have accidently started to wild with this method and didn't even know it. Of course I never let it happen, so now I'm going to let it ring and ring.

Well, I've tried it, but I found it hard to concentrate on since the sound of my breathing distracted me and blocked this ringing

I am guess that ringing that helps you is like the sound you focus one when you meditate. Maybe this one sound is the key to reaching another state of conciousness.
