An idea is something you haven't fully considered.
A belief is merely a repetitive thought.
A conclusion is simply where you stopped thinking.

This is exactly what I have learned through my lucid dreams. Once you realize you are lucid you get sooo excited to go and do something fun, often resulting in shorter lucids or loss of control. But when you stop...and don't just stop...but stop and analyze something. Like look at your hands. Look at the wrinkles in your hands. Look at the shine on a door knob etc. When you stop for a minute and examine something...it makes your lucid sooo much more vivid and last longer. And when you feel it starting to fade...again, stop. Kneel down. Examine the fibers on the carpet. Say things like "stabilize lucidity now" or "increase lucidicity now" or something that works for you. |

I agree..patience and relaxation are key elements to lucid control. |
