Getting over my fear of Sleep paralysis

Well last night I had an intensely vivid dream where I was semi-conscious and I even had a false awakening.

This dream basically rekindled my desire to get a legit lucid dream. Honestly this dream just felt like a trippy psychedelic adventure ,which is what I expected LD to feel like.

Thing is this was a random occurrence that I didn't expect. And I don't think it can again anytime soon. Which is why I wanna attempt to WILD.

I've had one WILD, but that was during the day when i took a nap. Because it was daytime i wasn't afraid of any SP i experienced. And Sleep paralysis is my major setback from having lucid dreams. I'm really scared Sh*tless of what I might see. The SP i experienced before during a (unsuccessful) DEILD was completely harmless and actually enjoyable! All i felt was pressure on my head, vibration and intense ringing in the ear and really abstract nonsensical thoughts. Its kinda like being high on a dissociative.

But the reason the DEILD was unsuccessful was because I panicked and thought " oh wait I might encounter a spirit/alien". Its really annoying that I expect something paranormal to attack me. During the day I get motivated and confident but them when its time to WILD I chicken out. Maybe being in the dark adds to the fear.

And really I don't believe in ghost or aliens ( maybe spirits) but I even stopped watching anything on those because i might dream about it. lame i know. Its also that I have this idea ( maybe delusion) that if an evil spirit overpowers me in SP I might get a mental illness or serious disease. :/ Like how some shamanic cultures believe spirit world effects the physical. Also the idea of accidentally astral projecting/OBE terrifies me too.

I've been mediating a little more lately and that kind of helps.

But does anyone know of a way I can get over this fear? It would be really appertained. (:

Had this fear my first few WILD attempts too, there probally is a way to get over this fear, but the way I got over them was by just going a little further every attempt.
After a lot of attempts you will get familiar with the feeling and it should not be scary anymore.

From what I know the nightmare-ish visions and voices that happens during a sleep paralysis are due to you still being in like a semi-dream state and being scared/panicking of the sleep paralysis and since you're still somewhat dreaming manifesting those things realistically infront of your eyes is extremely easy since you're scared.

I get sleep paralysis pretty much every mornings because of failed LDing and what not but I'm so used to them that I just go "Meh" during them and nothing happens at all.
