      Fear Sleep Paralysis

The only two times that I have ever gone into a WILD or DEILD are as such:

First time I had just woken up from a dream and accidentally slipped into DEILD. My best friend appeared over me, holding me down, very hard. He was pushing me, like as if he was very angry, onto the bed. I could not move, and was really scared, until I realized that I could not move because of sleep paralysis. I told my friend to stop because I knew I was dreaming, and my fear subsided, and eventually I was in a dream, and moving.

The sceond time was yesterday. My girlfriend was sleeping with me, and I had just woken from a dream. I was just lying there, thinking for a while, and at some point I see her eyes turn white and she turns to me and is staring at me with these horrible milky white, black outlined eyes. I couldn't move, and I remember that even though I realized I was probably dreaming, it lasted a good 2 minutes. Looking into her eyes.

How come I can't move even when the dream has obviously already begun? It is very scary until I can move again, or realize that I am dreaming. Both times happened completely accidentally

what do you mean, "when the dream has obviously already begun". Elaborate on that.

This sounds like you're not actually in a dream yet, but rather you're just having hallucinations.

When your body enters SP, it can be accompanied by hallucinations. The only thing I can really say is to not be afraid of these hallucinations, as they may become worse.

I mean that these images cannot appear in real life, so I must be dreaming. But I guess that slayer is right, and that's what I thought it must be....but the transition from hallucinations into actual dream is completely seamless.

Both of these experiences occured in my room on my bed, and the dreams after the hallucinations took place right after I am able to move - in the same room.

      well what happens after that?

you saw your girlfriend and you were looking at each other, then what? did you wake up shortly after?

either you need to wait longer for the actual dream or else you could try yelling something like,"UNFREEZE ME!" I dunno, experiment, and remember it's just a dream.

After the staring thing with my girlfriend I went into the dream. It just happened so seamlessly that I thought the hallucinations were a dream too.

It was actually weird, I got up and started kissing her on top of her for a while, swearing that I had woken up and shrugged off the dream...eventually I just got off her and went back to sleep.

In the morning after all of this I realized that I had never actually gotten up to kiss her, so I was dreaming all of that. It was very real, so real that I didn't even bother RCing, because WILDing was the last thing on my mind

I also get some freaky hallucinations when trying to WILD. Instead of visual ones I hear voices yelling at me. Not just one, though, many... It almost sounds like fifty at once. The important thing is to accept the hallucinations for what they are, a figment of your imagination. Keeping this in mind, try to remind yourself of this and tell yourself that this is just a building block towards an awesome lucid dream and that you're going to be in the dream world soon.
