      trouble doing WILD

when i am attempting a WILD i keep becoming frustrated, and it makes me unable to fall asleep at all.

when i attempt a WILD, i am layed in bed with my eyes open for some time, with an image of my bedroom in my head with a great sign hanging from the ceiling saying "THIS IS A DREAM!" and the world dream written on my walls. i close my eyes and repeat the thought "i am dreaming". after a while i see colours, and i feel dizzy. i feel as though my body is being rocked left and right, and i sometimes feel like the whole room is spinning. but i still refuse to stop repeating that sentence, but eventually the spinning stops and the colours fade, and i feel quite awake and normal..

any tips would be much appreaciated, thanks

im not expert and have yet to have any intentional lucid dreams but im just saying somethign i think might help.Once you reach the spinning sensation(ive felt that before, also a vibrating sense or like my bed is shaking)just try and quiet your head, and almost try and say in your head as quietly as you can whatever you say be it"this is a dream" so that you slowly drift off. When i reach the vibration stage i usually focus too much on either the feelings im feeling or what im telling myself and wake up,but if i just shut my mind up and relax and go iwht it,i slip off much easier.still no success with LD"s yet but hey ive only been trying for a couple of weeks .Hope this helps or even makes sense

what worked for me for the first time was just imagine you are laying down in a grass of fields looking at the clouds pass by. If a thought comes into your mind, then place that thought onto the cloud and watch it float away.very relaxing. try that instead of saying the mantra thing.
