I can't get out of my room.

This morning I had my third lucid dream and so far I am 3 for 3 in not being able to leave my room. At least my room was lit up this morning, as the first two times it was close to pitch black. One weird thing was that there seemed to be something stuck to my eye obstructing my vision and no matter what I tried to do I couldn't get it off. Also, my room has no windows so I can't jump out.

Try dream spinning. Spin and imagine being somewere else. Also you can try to jump through the wall.

I was always a dreamer, in childhood especially. People thought I was a little strange.-Charley pride

try the door teleportation method? or just fly through the wall?
They say dreaming is dead, no one does it anymore.
It's not dead it's just that it's been forgotten, removed from our language.
Nobody teaches it so nobody knows it exists.
The dreamer is banished to obscurity.
Well, I'm trying to change all that, and I hope you are too.
      By dreaming, every day.

dreamsofpoop, I have a similar dilemma of trying to leave the earths atmosphere as to your inability to get out of your room. But as i just wrote that I remembered that I actually did go high enough to the clouds...

Thanks for the reflective moment, but yea, i did it by manifesting a reason for it to work. I've seen Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and I put the flying elevator into use, and voila; an infomercial later and I'm in the heavens.

Try to use a method native to your psyche / memory that is exclusive to yourself and make a reason for it to work.

This and more is mentioned in the Dreamviews section on Dream Control Here:

This reminds me of a time where i would start my lucidity in my room with a wbtb and i could never get it to be bright in my room. I kind of tricked myself and said aloud "its morning, the sun is coming up". Suddenly my room began to brighten, but then it would slowly fade back to being dark again, i looked out my window to see if anything was going on and i noticed tons of tiny sun's shooting into the sky and then floating back down, as they went back down the room would get darker, so i had a little fun and started flicking my finger and knocking them back in the sky and it kept getting bright again, i couldnt keep them there though however and it pissed me off and i woke up. Nothing to do with your problem, but, i thought it was really funny.

Next time it happens to you, try walking out of your room and before you open the door, "expect" the other side of the door to be somewhere else.
