So after a while of not attempting to dream, I decided to pick up the progress again. I'm keeping up my DJ again, and my recall is getting pretty good again.
So I decided to get some tools to help me. I downloaded the iPhone app: 'Lucid Dreaming - by Glenn Harrold' or something. Basically what it does, is play a 25 minute hypnotic audio file. Its actually very relaxing, and I decided to open my mind for it. So I went to bed, lay down on my back, and my arms beside my body. Then the guy in of the audio file talks you through some stuff, and it really is relaxing. At the end of the 25 minutes, I'd find my body completely numb, my eyes feeling very heavy, but I still feel widely awake. Then the audio file stops, and I just hope I fall asleep... But, I don't. I'll just lie there, very much awake.
Eventually, when I can't take it anymore, I just turn over, and I really notice my body had gone numb, and I was completely relaxed. But then, as I tried to fall asleep again, I got so energized, I couldn't fall asleep for another half hour.
The next night, I tried it again, because it was indeed a very relaxating state. That night, same problem up to the point I just HAD to turn around. This time I fell asleep pretty fast though.
I'm just wondering how I can make my next step. I'm getting the idea I'm really close to sleep paralysis, and actually falling asleep, but at a certain point I just CAN NOT take laying on my back anymore, and I have to shift to another position. So I'd like to ask some tips from you guys :]
Thanks for reading!
I'm just wondering what I should do here.
