Dear forum board members,

As this sub-forum is dedicated to attaining lucidity I have something exciting to share with you all whether you are a veteran or someone new to lucid dreaming. I will break this thread up into three sections. The first section is to give you some background information about me as a lucid dreamer and the type of lucid dream that I had through this new technique in just two days of practice. The second section describes the lucid dream that I had through this method. And finally, the third section is about the actual mechanics and processes of the technique itself if you wish to investigate it further.

Section One:

I feel I should give you some credentials to back up this thread. I have been studying and practicing lucid dreaming for twenty one years. I bought my first instructional book on DILD's all those years ago and had limited success with that first book. The only method I use these days is WILD's as they are the most successful method for me to have lucid dreams. In the last year I have taken my pratice very seriously and have made the sacrifices of a drop in financial earnings and disruptions to my social life to make the time to hone my skills in having WILD's incorporated with WBTB.

I obtained this new technique on the 11th of November and on the 13th I had my first DILD in about five months. This new technique is purely for generating DILD's. Now some might say that this is just a conincidence as I do have several natural DILD's per year. However the DILD that I had was of a nature that has left me without any doubt that it was a direct result of practicing this new technique. The author of this technique states that you will quickly see a marked increase in lucidity during sleep with this method. If you know a great deal about lucid dreaming then the following statement is a very bold statement indeed. The author says with this technique you can achieve multiple DILD's on a nightly basis if you engage in continued practice. Onto the lucid dream...

Section Two

After waking up to see what time it was I can tell you that I had the DILD in my fourth REM period of the night. The dream was very uneventful and just concerning my general day to day life. The astonishing aspect of this LD is that there was nothing happening in the dream to alert me to the fact that I was dreaming. During the dream I suddenly had the awareness that I was dreaming. This astonished me greatly as my natural DILD's only occur when something very illogical happens in my dreams like a car flying for example. You may wonder why I have put the word awareness in italics. This is important as the technique is about creating the awareness necessary to have a DILD. I immediately performed palpation deepening techniques to deepen and stabilise the dream. However, it was a short lucid dream and when I woke up I twitched one of my calf muscles to see if I was in sleep paralysis. I wasn't and I thought about having a DEILD but instead decided to get up to record in my journal the lucid dream and the three other dreams that I could remember. Onto the technique...

Section Three:

I cannot give you the full method here apart from pointers otherwise I would be breaking the law. If you want to obtain the technique with full instructions then send me a private message and I will tell you where you can purchase it. So as not to break the advertising rules of this forum board I cannot tell you the name of the author in this thread or the address of their website where you can purchase it.

The technique as I have said is to have DILD's. The problem with DILD's is having the awareness that one is dreaming. The author of this method is a veteran lucid dreamer and they noticed something peculiar happening in their natural DILD's. This led them to develop a hypothesis as to what was causing this peculiarity. They did an experiment and found out that they very quickly had a marked increase in their lucidity during a nights sleep.

Here we are dealing about lucid dreams but I will quickly touch on OBE's as they are relevant to this technique. For example when I do a WILD sometimes I will change my mind and have an OBE instead. For example when I am in sleep paralysis I will get up and turn around and see my physical body in bed. If I can see my physical body then I must have another set of eyes in 'another body'. This other body is termed by different names - dream body, astral body or etheric body as examples. From a technical point of view I use a different name in different situations but from the perspective of this thread I will call it the dream body. The technique relies solely on a relationship between your physical self and your dream self. You need to build a particular relationship between your physical self and your dream self. Once you do this then the natural result is that you will have far higher levels of awareness in your dreams and a marked increase in lucidity. When the author said that one can have a whole night of sleep filled with lucid dreams I was highly sceptical. After carefully studying the material of their technique and having now had a first hand experience of it within two days of practice I am fully open minded. Bear in mind that I rarely have natural DILD's. The technique requires very little effort and is to be done in a relaxed manner whilst falling asleep.

Best wishes to you all
