False Awakening?

I just remembered something that happened to me last year which I think was a false awakening. I remember waking up and checking my iHome beside my bed. It read a number around 2:00. I lay on my bed for around 5 more seconds and then decided to re-check the time. It now read around 5:00. I unfortunately didn't know about lucid dreaming, so I just went back to "sleep" without knowing it was a false awakening. So do you think it really was a false awakening? Because if it is, it's the only one I ever remember having.

No, I remember waking up until morning and remembering what had happened, but since I didn't know about lucid dreaming and false awakenings I thought I had either seen the clock wrong, or I had fallen asleep when I lay in bed and then woken up again without me knowing.

I just made a thread about this, happening to me. It happens all the time apparently. Just make a habit out of doing a RC every single time you wake up, or look at your alarm.
