What worked for you when you first started?

This is just to get a sense of what worked for everyone (lucid dream induction-wise), so I can put it all together and decide how the hell I'm going to pull it off when school starts: 6-8 hours of sleep, cross country @ 6 A.M, and school stress.

      Any post is appreciated

Write down your dreams just as you wake up, even if it is just a few words, and then tell people about them throughout the day. That way you focus your conscious mind on your dreams and eventually in your dreams.

This may not help you in attaining lucidity but to make your dreams more vivid and make them easier to remember i suggest starting a vitamin regiment. I am currently taking 200mg of 5-HTP, 250mg of choline bitartrate, 100mg of B6, and also if you have some trouble falling asleep you can take melatonin. I do not suggest taking more than 2mg though because it does slightly supress REM. I also recommend you take these with a meal in the evening before you go to bed.
