For a beginner, a MILD/ DILD combination is good. I get all of my lucids from just doing reality checks. So do a lot of different reality checks throughout the day and tell yourself that you are going to have a lucid dream. Go read about MILD and DILD in the tutorial section.

And make sure you remember at least one dream per night, first. Keep a dream journal if you're not already.

I do, and remember my dreams almost every night (as in like 14 out of 15 nights).

You should try the WILD method. Set your alarm to wake yourself up two hours before your normal awakening. Go back to sleep while visualizing a peaceful scene. IMHO, this is the easiest entry into a LD.
