Cool Onyxfyre's AILD guide! (auido induced lucid dream)

I stumbled upon this last night. Being the worst dreamer ever (I can never recall dreams, and no other methods worked for me), I decided to try some new techniques of my own. In last nights experiment, i put my earbuds in and fell asleep and discovered something completely new!

      The AILD technique!

      The experiment
Normally I always do WILD attempts, and have never been able to Reality check since I always forget.
I turned on my MP3 player and popped in my earbuds, and went to bed. I actually fell asleep and woke up 10 minutes later, feeling REALLY heavy. I knew I was almost in sleep paralysis, and I have never been that far in it before. Sorry to say, but I accidently dozed off. I never remember my dreams on weekdays anyway, but when I woke up I figured out new Lucid dream methods, for different types of dreamers!

      AILD aids for WILDers
Ok, you have all heard of the wake back to bed method right? well, this is pretty much the same thing, but I will explain why AILD works as an aid. When you attempt a WILD, you usually lay in bed and wait until you see images. It is often hard to do this because you are concentrating too hard on keeping still. Heres where AILD comes in. Listen to your MP3 Player and you will be focused on the music (Turn it on low or you wont sleep!) When you only pay attention to music, you wont make any sudden movements. But dont forget! pay a small bit of your attention on your body too, but not too much. If your body feels painful, that means it is trying to tell you to roll over to make sure you are asleep. You can easily go through this. Oh and dont forget! Keep your mind on staying awake! Binuaral beats can be used as a substitution if you want.

This technique recommended for WILDers or people who are good with sleep paralysis

      AILD aids for MILDers

This is a fairly simple technique. If you are good at MILDing (reality checking, and finding out your dreaming), then this is the right technique for you. You must also be good at falling asleep with music playing. Make sure your MP3 player is fully charged, and just go to sleep with it!
During your dream, you might hear music playing in the backround, and think "this is my MP3 Player! Im dreaming!", which leads to your lucid dream. You can substitute Binnaural beats if you want to.

recommended for people who can fall asleep with music and reality check often.

Thanks for reading over my post. Mail me any questions you want to ask. Happy dreaming!

This is basically using music as an anchor, not really a new method. I will be trying this tonight tho.

yea, good point. But not many people know about anchors, and music is one of the best methods

Ill try this tonight. I never actually had a WILD before but i feel like im getting really close. When I attempt one I get to the point where I feel like I HAVE to roll over or itch. I know I shouldn't but it keeps on increasing so I just roll over anyway. I hope that listening to music will partially distract me from my body. Thanks for posting this technique I will post my results tomorrow morning.

Very nice guides! I'm going to give it a shot tonight because I've been trying many things to help me but nothing works and I love music so if i can go to bed with it then itll make it even better.
