Attained Lucidity, but Murky Dreams... any ideas?

So the other night, I had a series of murky, brief, very fluid dreams, as I sadly often do, the complete opposite of vivid. Suddenly, I was in a one that kept some form for long enough for me to realize I was dreaming (like my last lucid dreams, I didn't even HAVE to RC, I just "knew").

I instantly rubbed my hands together and dragged them across the carpet to feel textures, and I was shifted to outside (the antithetical reaction I'd expect from trying to make the dream MORE vivid) or I walked through the front doors. I can't remember, so either way, it wasn't too incredibly vivid.

Outside, I was disappointed the landscape around me was just a small cafe and lots of undeveloped land, with a few smaller buildings off in the distance. I walked by people, touching their clothes and skin, desperately trying to give the dream more form and texture (even scrapped a lady's stubbly armpit!), and still felt the dream was too loose to really try much. And what TO try, since my goal was to destroy an entire city, anti-Superman-style?

So I tried imagining the city fuller and closer, but the sky went dark. At that moment a speeding monorail trail flew by the cafe. I figured, oh what the hell, and jumped onto the side of it, but the shaking and speed woke me up (a False Awakening, and for some stupid reason, I didn't do an RC, and the dreams went back to loose, random and fluid -- most unremembered.

Even on a Lucid night, my dreams are mostly pretty crap.

Example: I dreamed I was watching Jason Newsted (bassist of Metallica) playing his last show before quitting the band, and suddenly I was swept up into the unknown fact that Kirk Hammet (lead guitarist for Metallica) was secretly a woman. I wondered if he had always been a woman, or if he had an operation. He looked like a buxom, anime-geisha, and I was so confused. Then Johnny Depp was telling me that the "o_O" emoticon is in fact, one of the least trustworthy poker faces, because it's unreliable. Then I was shown History Channel-style the "most famous" failed poker face, when The Lady In Red lost her cool while on trial (yes, technically the real "lady in red" was never on trial for anything), by turning and gasping at her accuser.

That's how my dreams often are. Just nano-second, to half minute, nothings with no solidity! And that's WHEN I remember them.

Any advice? I've ordered my first batch of Galantamine, so we'll see if it helps.

That last dream you described was entertaining to read and I see nothing wrong with it. It's normal to have nonsensical dreams. You're lucky you've been able to stay in a LD for so long. To increase vividness, you could try voice commands like "increase vividness!" that some people say work really well. Or maybe you aren't doing enough to immerse your senses. You described touching things, but maybe you need to roll on the ground or jump into water or mud, or perhaps eat some really good food like cake.

Ah, you're right. I should've grabbed someone's meal and taken a bite. It is a little amusing how I treat my "extras" in my dream lately. In the cafe, I'm just like poke, rub, squeeze, keep walking. In my last lucid dream, I grabbed the first person I saw and threw them into the sky. I want to start having an actually ongoing series of lucid dreams that in SOME way interconnect, with more in depth "characters" who interact rather than just letting the subconscious create empty people shells.

But man, those random, gooey, fluid dreams just bother me for some reason. They shift so much so fast, it's feels like chaotic, random thoughts, more than dreams.
