OBE's and freaky dreams

A few nights ago I did an accidental WILD WBTB, well...more of a half wild.

I was trying to get back to sleep and my hands and feet kept getting pins and needles so I kept moving them but every once in a while I'd nearly fall asleep then suddenly wake up. So I moved my hand again and I could feel it moving, but also I could feel it in the same place it was before, I got realy freaked out and started shaking my (not real) hand around a load before I switched back to where it was before. Clearly an Out of Body.

Thinking back to it, it was so awsome but if I didn't freak out I know I could have done a WILD.

How can I keep myself calm in situations like this?
(I've not had a lucid yet)

Well why do you get freaked out? There's no reason to.

I couldn't tell you, since I never succeeded when I tried to.

I know theres no reason to but since I've never experienced anything like having two hands on the same arm it's pretty clear why I got freaked out.

It doesn't matter how I did it or why, I would just like to know how to use it.
