Anyone use their dreams like this? building a workshop?

I frequently built workshops in my dreams and have recently started again. I create computer programs and design them for a living stop at night I will dream that I'm sitting in a parlour an old fashioned one similar to one Sherlock Holmes might use. I sit down with Einstein with all of his white bushy hair. He and I are really good friends. We talk about the program, start to do some flowcharts and brainstorming on a blackboard using chalk and everything lol. Once we think we've come up with a good one we laugh. Einstein will then excuse himself and go to bed. I sit in his recliner and doodle some code in a notepad. When the code is all done I look at it and say to myself 'I want to remember this flowchart when I wake up'. I concentrate really hard on the blackboard and the notepad. Then I wake up. It is usually around 4:30 am . I give my flashlight or turn on my lamp, and write down in my notepad everything I can remember as fast as I can. I take this to work and usually is 99% accurate

I have done this many times and have found it to be amazing. In fact my own business which I now run for nearly 6 years was first conceived from within a lucid dream and we have had wild success since turning over £500,000 within the first three years.

My question is this, as anywhere else turned their dreams for inspiration or answers?
Whether it be for personal, business or general reasons I would really love to hear some other stories. Perhaps then this thread could become inspirational to those who have yet to lucid dream.

Now I know that was a bit wordy so I would like to thank you for taking the time to read it.

I have thought about doing this, but haven't had enough lucids yet. I don't even know what I would try and solve.

VERY interesting! But the discussion comes to wether this was all in your head or some astral projecting was involved. Unfortunately i can't LD yEt so I can't give you any answers. You actually could of talked to Einstein's spirit, maybe you could hit up Leonardo and Plato sometime lol

you could try and solve anything that you don't currently have an answer to. You could even create a problem/test that you don't know how to solve, which is important as you can't know the answer going in, to test it.

There was a thread who's name I just can't think of where someone posted that they would have a problem on a board then call in the greatest minds in history. He'd work with them and solve it, similar to your situation. I would think that the possibility to solve problems and be creative is one of the biggest motivations to learn how to LD.

Woah, that's really awesome. I think I've only had one dream where I've done something semi-practical. My dream career is in surgery and I've seen many procedures on youtube and in textbooks. In one dream (I was not or maybe barely lucid) I practiced cardiac catheterization on a live patient which was amazing. Especially since I won't even get close to doing this IRL for around 9+ years! Somehow I seemed to remember the procedure and as far as I can tell I performed it like a pro ;D

im no better than anyone else who has stuck at their chosen technique. besides i wasnt always able to have LD's with frequency as i used to use MILD and it really wasnt working so i tried WILD, had a little more success, stuck with it and would say tht i mastered it in about 6 months. bear in mind though, previously i was someone who meditated alot, daily in fact so i guess tht helped me along the way

I have created a workshop also. I haven't been there yet, but I plan to the next time I lucid dream. I will mainly use it for ideas for stories to write. The building will be in the middle of a beautiful forest and it won't have a roof. On the inside it looks old fashioned and classy. It has a bookshelf so I can pull out books to get ideas, a character generator that new characters can come out of, a treasure chest to pull out magical artifacts, swords, and stuff, and a display cases to store all that stuff. I'm hoping that it will look like how I imagine so I don't have to change it at all. I attached a picture that I drew a while back of the workshop. It might be hard to see. Oh, and ignore the random flower to the right of the picture.

I've heard of the Paradiso download thingy that tells you how to "make" a place in your dreams where you can go and it will make you lucid etc. I don't think I'm experienced enough to make one though, maybe when I get better inducing lucids

I love your avatar Dreamstate, but where is this workshop? are we bordering on spiritual stuff or are the people and things in the workshop a part of our sub-conscious?

thats great to hear, i hope you have success with it. Post back results

This isnt true. In fact i would say that the opposite is true. I frequently concentrate hard on aspects of the dreamscape to increase the vividness of the dream, especially if its de-stabilizing. I think maybe you have conditioned yourself to blur it out after '2 seconds' its just a schema of your mind. I think most would say tht concentrating and focusing on objects in a dream will say tht it increases the dreams realism and clarity.

lol. Nope no spiritual stuff here. i actually despise it when people frame lucid dreaming in a spiritual sense instead of a natural, biological one. The workshop and the people within them are aspects of your subconscious. I guess it says something about how intelligent we really are deep down. This tool has the ability, in my opinion, to harness human potential to the max.
