Thread: So close!

Last night I had my first dreams about LD since I started trying again. I remember a dream where I talked to my mother and I "realized" that it was a dream. I even told her: "you know this is just a dream". This did not make me lucid!! I can't believe it! Instead I just woke up right after telling my mother that it is a dream. I also have a vague memory about another dream where I tried to have LDs. Again: I did not get lucid.

All this happened after I tried (and failed) FILD. I think there is really something to this method. It's just like something was planted in my subconsiousness that carried over to my dreams.

sounds like a typical DILD to me. I think you suggested it to yourself by trying and induction technique
