Thread: Binaural Beats for Blockheads

Alright, so honestly I have no idea how to use the things.

What I do know is that Delta waves are associated with deep, dreamless sleep and Theta waves are passive alertness or dreaming.

Here's what I don't know. Which waves do I listen to and when? Do I listen to Delta as I'm falling asleep and then put on some Theta when I wake up later in the night? Do I need a wave that transitions from Delta to Theta to put me to sleep and then stimulate my mind?

binaural beats do work to some extent but their use is heavily shrouded in pseudoscience. I have used the theta waves one and found it somewhat useful in my wild attempts. There is also one you can buy which goes from Delta to theta while you are asleep with the idea of making you become more aware during the dream. I wouldn't put too much faith in them if I'm honest the human body has more than enough means to be able to lucid dream on its own.
