I've been trying to lucid dream for almost 3 months. I've been keeping a dream journal, doing RC as often as possible, even waking up and trying WBTB and WILD. I have had ZERO sucsess. |

I'm not giving up... I really don't want to take a break either. As you can see from my signature I already have some goals. I think I'm pretty motivated. I'm just lost. I don't know what I can do to get lucid. |

you know how a writer get writer's block. Well I think that's what's happening to you, it certainly happened to me when I first started because like you I was motivated but to motivated and as a result everything just kind of stopped like my LD's, recall etc. To overcome it you simply need to either take a break or look at lucid dreaming in a less serious light. I hope everything gets better for you so you can experience your first LD. |

Dreaming Is Anybodys Game But Being Lucid...Now Thats Earned
All hail the Lucid Dreaming Bible 'Exploring the world of Lucid dreaming'
WILDs= 150+
DILD= 50+
WBTB+WILD= 100
Total LD's: 300+
Well, like how LucidPower said, Writers get writers block, and dreamers get dreaming blanks. And also, I think trying to force it to happen sets you back, just surrender and let it come naturally, don't get so stressed out over having lucid dreams! Just have a peaceful confidence that the ability will come when it's ready, and that because you want it, it will come. Everyone takes a different amount of time, for me it was a week or 2 before I started having lucid moments, for everyone it's different. Also, pay FULL attention while doing RCs, ask yourself randomly whenever something weird happens or whenever you remember, "Am I dreaming?" and when you do, say things like "If the clock changes when I look at it again, I'm dreaming." then look away and look at it again, if it stays the same, say "It did not change. this must not be a dream." But it's best to do multiple reality checks, and fully comprehend why you do them as you do, and that will help them be more effective in the dream world? |
