      What to do before bed?

What should I do before I go to sleep in order to remember in your dreams to do a RC? I have been doing RC's about 5 times daily and it boosted my awareness but i can't seem to get it in a dream. Should I increase the amount of RC's I do or is there something specific that I should be doing that I'm not? I have also been keeping a DJ for a little over a month now. Thank You!

Boosting the number of RCs definitely wouldn't hurt, 5 a day isn't much

I've found that repeating a mantra to myself for a few minutes before going to sleep really helps. I usually say "you're dreaming, you're dreaming, you're dreaming,..." over and over again until it's ingrained in my mind. You can saying something different than that, but you get the point. What this does is raise your awareness, and also keep your goal of getting lucid in the back of your mind.

Keep it up with the dream journal too, that will help you out with DILDs.

Repeat your goals to yourself when you are in bed, ready to fall asleep. Make them clear and simple, and picture yourself accomplishing them. If you want to wake up and immediately record your dream, visualize yourself doing this. If you want to become lucid, picture yourself performing a reality check and becoming lucid from it. This is how we remember to do things. If you want to buy milk at the store, picture yourself picking out the carton of milk. You don't need to drill this into your head too hard. Just think of your goals, be confident you will accomplish them, and then let it go and fall asleep.
