Supplements: Good for Training, or Creating Dependence?

      Hey All,

I woke up this morning at 6:30 AM, then took 1 4mg Galantamine pill with 1 310mg Choline pill and a glass of water. I purchased them a while ago, and they've been sitting in my cabinet, thought I'd try them out. I think Choline provides the ammunition, and Galantamine helps retrieving the ammunition that makes LDs easier. Something like that.

Anyways, I've been seeking more Lucidity for about 2 years, and have only been able to get the average frequency up to about 1 per month. The past week, I've been waking up at 6:30, staying up a couple minutes, then trying the WBTB method. Well, last night, I became quite Lucid, and had a fun time jumping up to the top of buildings, and hopping all around the towers . It was the only time all week I've been successful with WBTB this past week.

      My question:

In your experience/opinion, do you think that using supplements like these would be beneficial to LD'ing in terms of training? That is, using these pills as tools to help get used to becoming aware in dreams? I'm thinking that maybe if I can use this pills to increase my frequency, I can develop a sort of "brain muscle memory", or in other words, be more accustomed to gaining Lucidity.

OR... Could I become dependent on these pills? Would it be the case that as I use these tools to increase frequency, as soon as I stop using the pills it will be as if I lose my "crutch", and end up taking a step backwards?

      Or will it not matter...

Or does it change from person to person...

Or do you just not know?

I think it's a good discussion to have! Fire away! and THANKS! Super-profundo on the early eve of your day. (Or something like that)

If you rely on supplements your chances to have LDs will increase.
The problem is that you will know they were the main reason you started having vivid/lucid dreams more often.
Since our main requirement here is 100% confidence in ourselves... you are going to hit some hard wall the moment you stop taking them.
      My opinion of course

Galantamine and choline isnt a placebo if that's what your saying. That shit works extremely well for most people. But eventually you will just be dependant on it to lucid. Well that's not totally true because I had lucids without taking it.
Every passing minute is another chance to turn it all around.
