Hi everyone, |
|
It depends on the person, but I would recommend thinking throughout the day that you want to have a lucid dream, and getting excited over it. Then before you go to sleep, do a mantra such as "I will have a lucid dream", or whatever works for you. This is basically a MILD (mnemonically induced lucid dream) because you are keeping the thought of lucid dreaming in your mind and so it sticks better as you're falling asleep. |
|
Personally during the day I use 'I will lucid dream tonight', but as I'm going to sleep I will use the mantra 'I am dreaming', and I've found it works very well for me. I've tried some mantras which don't work for me, but work for others, everyone's different you just have to figure out what works for you |

Hmm interesting. So would you recommend using an intention mantra like "I will have a lucid dream tonight" throughout the day and then an affirmation mantra such as "This is a dream" before I'm about to sleep? |
|
That's what I would recommend, along with reminding yourself that you want to have a lucid dream and about how excited you are. Keeping it in your head is important, because there's a good chance you'll have a MILD if the last thing you think of before going to sleep is lucid dreaming. |
|
Okay thanks, I also read in the thread that some people might make a mark or write something on their hand or arm that would remind them of lucid dreaming so do you have any experience or thoughts on this? |

Abraham Hicks who i have learned alot from talks about manifestations through 1 pure thought like in meditation. I think it relates so im going to post the video below. maybe it will help you go lucid. i know im going to use it tonight for ld's and see what happens. namaste. |

"when you fall unconscious, what your mind expresses is a dream.
When you are aware, what your mind expresses is creativity. It creates your life.
When you are in a higher state of consciousness, it not only creates the life of whatever you want, but also on whom ever you want". -LifeBlissFoundation
