Once I was putting the key into the ignition keyhole of my truck and the hole was in the center of the steering wheel. I thought "this is a strange place for the key to go and thought maybe I'm dreaming" Then said out load " naa it’s real enough" and went on without doing a RC

That has happened to me, man, its frustrating... just dont give up hope

I'm not. I just thought we could learn from others sharing and maybe we can see some common mistakes to watch for.

Thats a good idea. You know what, I once had a F/A and didnt recognize it, cuz everything seemed so real, so I'd recommend always do a RC when you wake up, cuz you could be dreaming.

Yea I read that that happen a lot to more advanced LDers. I'm just a baby at it and so far my missed chances have only been in a normal dreams. Never had a F/A

I was on the verge of lucidity the other night. I climbed down an embankment next to a road, and in front of a river. I saw a dandelion. I was thinking about lucid dreaming at the time. I was telling myself what happens in lucid dreams. I picked the fluffy white dandelion and put it in my mouth and chewed on it. I told myself "in a lucid dream I can actually feel it in my mouth and taste it".. but for some reason I didn't actually consider that THIS was a lucid dream. All the thoughts about the feelings and the tactile sensations that occur in lucid dreams were going through my head. Then suddenly I had a near moment of clarity, like my mind was nudging me, then I just walked off and woke up. Never became lucid. I woke up and laughed.

I was in a bus sitting next to a random girl and she started talking about astral projection to me. Like what are the chances of that happening that was my cue to go right there and I missed it.

This is in my dream journal too.

I was on the basket ball court playing around and shooting at the hoop thinking. I could practice this in a lucid dream. I could make it go in the hoop. If I was in a lucid dream it would be like actual practice. ect ect.

All the time failing to realize it was a dream. That is pretty embarassing.

Yea I have thoughts about dreaming while in dreams as well, your kicking your self in the morning when you wake up.

I guess it falls under the category of a lower level of lucidity to non at all. Kind of like a lower scale of clarity that starts at 0. Maybe not clarity but perception like on a scale of 1 threw 10 it would be a 1
