      The Best Dream Tips

INTRO:Hello, my name is carlo. I know it looks as if im not experienced in Lding because of the number of posts or the date i became a member... Truth is YOU dont know ME! haha
My other account is not recoverable because i dont know the email password from the other account i made 3 years ago. Ive been researching lucid dreams for a long time now. In my own mind as well while lucid. You have to know that your mind is more powerful than any device ever created by humans. That you have the ability to do what YOU desire. Your mind has endless imagination and only keeps growing.

FIRST: RECALL, RECALL, RECALL. Most important matter of dreaming is remembering it. What is the point of becoming lucid if you cant even remember it? or remembering only small scenes. You have to tell your mind this is VERY important! By doing that keep a dream journal, and a voice recorder (extremely recommended) Every morning you HAVE to record your dreaming, even if your real lazy or remember only a glimpse. Even record how you feel in the morning. This will tell your brain remembering dreams is important to you. The more you try, the more your brain will remember. Even make it seem like your life depends on remembering, say it to yourself at night. "My life depends on remembering my dreams" It might seem pretty crazy to some. But trust me this worked wonders for me. It triggers your brain into complete focus. That this is truly important. you have to really believe in yourself and lucid dreaming. Make it seem that lucid dreaming is simple, do not stress. There is always tonight to try again. Be calm, go with the flow that you WILL lucid dream. It just takes time and practice. At first i remember only having about one or two dreams a week, i then started my dream journal. Instantly started remembering like 3-4 a week, then 5-6 the next couple weeks and so on. I then started using a voice recorder which made my recall WAY better. i was having like 2-3 dreams a night, every night. Then i started re-reading my dreams before i sleep, and sometimes i would jump back into the dreams i would read! it was pretty interesting. My first lucid came after a couple months, and it only got me more motivated. I was recording everything, writing, reading, interpreting my dreams. Tip:Question your dreams many times, ask WHY, WHY, WHY. Eventually you will dream of answers.
NEXT:Symbols: This is very important as well. You can pick your own symbol and focus on it, or you can have one that comes up by itself in a lot of dreams and just stick to that one. The natural symbol. Me, i picked my own. i had a dream of a golden aerodactyl(a pokemon) lol! who knew a childhood like would become my symbol? Anyway i had a dream of it trying to bite me, and my instinct was to grasp its beak closed so it doesn't chomp me, it started flying and i held on tight. As i was soaring high up in the sky i knew i was dreaming! i became lucid. To this day when i see it flying in the air=instant lucidity. attaining lucidity becomes a breeze when you have a dream symbol, or character. Ask any ol' lucid dreamer. dont have to take my word for it. Mantras Repeating "I will remember my dreams" until you fall asleep is effective, But repeating "My life depends on remembering these dreams"=SUPER effective. Remember: I am not saying this will 100 percent work wonders for you, you can come up with your own mantra. Experiment with different ones. All i am saying is This is the one that was most effective for me. It like made my sub-conscious believe this was true, and its now the mantra i use to effectively recall my dreams.
Re-call Substances: Note:I do not encourage anybody to use these substances. Use at your own risk. This is solely for information.
*5-HTP- is used for sleep disorders, depression, anxiety, migraine and tension-type headaches, fibromyalgia, binge eating associated with obesity, premenstrual syndrome (PMS). It helps with becoming more focused as well. This Substance is GREAT for vividness in your dreams, this greatly increases vividness in the first week of use! It helps in recall as well. As dreams get more vivid your able to remember greater details. That what vivid is, simply greater detail. It makes your dreams HD quality.
*Melatonin-Melatonin is a hormone that is secreted by the pineal gland in the brain. It helps regulate other hormones and maintains the body's circadian rhythm. The circadian rhythm is an internal 24-hour “clock” that plays a critical role in when we fall asleep and when we wake up. This substance is great for recall as well. It even helps you fall asleep quicker. And wake up with ease to remember your dreams calmly.
*Choline Bitartrate- helps with focus too, it allowed me to analyze situations in dreams easier and helps become lucid. it Really helps with memory, you can find it in bananas and potatoes. it is a natural amino acid and The brain naturally converts it into acetylecholine which helps with awareness and recall.
*Galantamine- lots of people talk about this one,so i had to try it. This substance improves day-time memory and intensifies dreams.
*Vitamin B6- this one plays a key role in brain and nerve function, However, to achieve higher doses that will actually increase your dream intensity, take a 100 mg supplement. This can be acquired through foods like bananas, carrots, organes, spinach, fish, chicken, liver, beans, eggs and nuts.
*nicotine- Is said to increase the vividness, only recommend if your a smoker. Its addicting. Can cause lung cancer. Use at your own risk.
*THC(marijuana,weed,cannabis)- I personally smoke a lot of cannabis, it does decrease your short term memory while high. you will not remember your dreams as much. But there is a trick you see! THC suppresses REM periods, which means you REM for less. BUT when you stop smoking for a couple days, something called REM rebound occurs which means your REM period becomes prolonged! which means MORE dreaming, and Longer periods of the good stuff (REM).
It also takes away nightmares, for me at the least. i haven't had any nightmares as i started smoking cannabis.
*Psylocybin(magic mushrooms)- Only take a small dose before you sleep, like VERY small. .2-.3 of a gram. AGAIN you have to experiment, everyone reacts different to Psylocybin. This boosts creativity Big time, and increases control as well as awareness. if you take too much you wont sleep and end up talking to yourself all night.
Techniques: M.I.L.D,D.I.L.D,W.B.T.B,W.I.L.D,E.I.L.D/ all these induction techniques can be found on the site so i wont elaborate. You can look yourself.
What i will do is say MY technique. This is only for people that have moderate to good recall and are experienced for at least a couple months. But anyone can try it, its just more effective if you have good recall and do reality checks once in a while.I call it C.I.L.D- Carlo's Induction to Lucid Dreaming
This is MY most effective technique that brought loads of Lucid Dreams. First you do at least 5-10 reality checks and once in awhile look around everywhere i mean EVERYWHERE in your surroundings like every little detail when your done do a quick reality check i use the looking at hands and holding my nose while trying to breathe, this helps your brain be more aware in your dream, you will catch yourself in your dream looking around everywhere then doing a reality check, BOOM! your lucid. Also be active during the day a little, go for a jog or exercise Do this During the day from whenever you wake up keeps your brain activity high. i wake up 8:00 A.M. and do the 5-10 reality checks till late afternoon around 4:00-6:00pm. TAKE a nap at this time. do some mantras and You WILL go into REM. When you wake up write down your dreams and/or voice record them. Do another 5-10 reality checks and some D.A(Detail Analyzing)(the looking around everywhere trick) Till you get sleepy. which will be around 1-3 A.M. This might not work around everyone's schedule, this is more like for people that have lots of free time, or it could be your weekend technique. When im working its my weekend technique. In Vacations i do it all the time.
anyways, the moment you start getting sleepy take a 5-HTP pill 100-200MG, and a melatonin 1-3mg, as well as some vitamin B6 100-200mg. If you have none of these just eat an orange and a banana. Then go to bed do some more mantras "My life depends on remembering these dreams" you might laugh a little. haha, but it works.
      HAPPY Lucid Dreaming to all.
