      not able... again

      Hi all,

I'm still new to lucid dreaming. I enjoy doing a mixture of WILDs, WBTBs, FILDs and DEILDs. I'm hardly successful at any of them right now but was relatively successful at WILDs WBTBs and FILDs in the past. I'm not able to go into sleep paralysis again and I don't know why. Is my mind resisting my attempts? I do lie still but only feel something in my leg for a moment and then it stops. I've never actually gotten past transition in an aware state though I have experienced it just momentarily.

Can someone perhaps help me out? I'm reading through the tutorials again but still feel I need more help. I wish I can figure out a way to nail this part down completely so I can move onto the next step of WILDing...

Hey, make sure you're tired enough to fall asleep when attempting to WILD. But make sure you're in REM or close to it. If you're having such a hard time with WILD, perhaps checking out the other techniques is a good idea? They're just as reliable, and you don't sacrifice sleep when you do them.

      Okay, I'll try something new.

I know I haven't been writing in my dream journal could this holding me back.

The dream journal can be helpful by allowing you to visualize a dream you had recently. Visualize a past vivid dream while practicing deep muscle relaxation techniques during sleep onset. Good luck to you!
