Lightbulb New techniqes i made up :D

ok, i have no idea if this would work or if this is already out there... i heard false awakenings are more vivid and easy to remember so i thought if this really easy method... its like a MILD/DILD perhaps? or a MRDILD (mantra reinforced dream induced lucid dream) alright let me explain it..

      1. get into the habit of RCing when you wake up
      2. use mantras thru out the day and before sleep to give your self a FA something like "the next time i dream, i will have a false awakening"
      3. when you have a false awakening you will RC once it begins and you become lucid

i thought of this since my first lucid was a FA at first and i did a RC when i woke up, and the only way i could think of to have a FA on purpose is to use a mantra...
i would love for some people to test this

This is basically creatively making yourself R.C. at a good time, which is great, but not exactly a whole technique in itself. People say to do reality checks all the time so you do one in a dream, which is much more general than what you say, but then again it doesn't really make a difference whether you make yourself R.C. in a dream or in a F.A. In both cases you made yourself R.C. when you wanted.

Seems like it could work to me! Although, like Origami said it's probably more of a technique refinement than a whole new technique. I'm trying pretty much anything at the moment, so I will definitely give it a go! I'll let you know if I have any success.

Creative mantra, although every time on awakening you are still in a dreamy state.
Michael Radugas experiments discovered that, sometimes when you wake up during the night and just get out of the bed, you might find yourself in the dream.
He said something like this: "This sounds too good to be true, although how many times have you actually tried it?"

So continue with your mantra and see how it goes for you.
But if you can't induce false awakenings you can at least induce awakenings and use this technique.
