My first lucid dream today,need tips

I finally got my first lucid dream. I done it through a mild when i was actually attempting a wild. I wasnt going to do a reality check because it felt too real but I did anyway. Normally people say they get excited and wake up, I was really excited but stayed lucid. It was the best dream I've ever had. I was wondering if you people have any extra tips for doing a wild and if you have any recommended Ipod apps? Thanks

Hahahahah ok then I was in my school with my mate and I was like shall I check if its im lucid dreaming and I first thought no I cba it feels to real, but I did and it failed I got really excited and started running round and smashing stuff. Then I started to loose the vividness and decided to spin round. Everything went back to normal. I closed my eyes and spun round and i thought when I open my eyes I will be in times square. I wanted to go there so i could jump off the empire state building. However i ended up in a car park and a sighn said i was 100 yards from old trafford. I turned round it was the premier inn. I thought id go explore. I went in and it was madness like rock climbing and stuff. I just l made friends with people and then i thought its time to go out because i really wanted to go to the empire state. But when i was walking out i was dragged by some adults to have a chat. I just sat and thought its wonderful how you mind works then i went to get up and go but I woke up.
