i have been lucid twice in this year, and i know its annoying, and i also cant get lucid when i try to, and i do when i don't try it...
and you CAN remember dreams, but you only have to work on it, i couldn't remember my dreams very well either, until i began a dream journal, and it has become better ever since, try it...
and now, my best man, just try, continue, you cant learn it in just one day, it can take months, and b.t.w.: why are you pissed? you've had a LD, right? (<--- no answer needed )

      i think this requires a song: http://www.downloads.nl/cgi-bin/meta/do/np...t+u2+&where=mp3

Well, I believe that there is latent ability in all people to lucid dream. For some it is quite strong, for others, somewhat weaker.

I understand your frustration. I have very little latent ability and have to work very hard for my lucid dreams. From one latent dreamer to another, please keep up the good fight, OK?

Now to your other issue, Lucid dreaming has been known for thousands of years. It seems however that our westward, technology and science based culture chose to ignore it and to our understanding of it decay over the years.

Thank god that lucid dreaming is finally beginning to emerge as an interest once again. It spent so many years layered in mysticism and until recently was considered a 'New Age' sort of thing.

I can offer you little in the way of comfort than to know that I'm in the trenches next to you fighting!
you must be the change you wish to see in the world...

One important key is confidence. As long as you keep saying "I can't" and "nothing works", then you're probably not going to have much luck. It's a self-fulfilling prophecy.

Like a natural talent that was forgotton, and then re-discovered today. I hate working for something, and then not being able to get it. No, and I repeate NO method works for me. NONE. I can only lucid when I don't mean to, which was once. I'm even starting to think that I don't dream (Though I do) because I can't remember my dreams!!!!!!!!!! I could about a week ago, but now my stupid retarted brain is being a $h!t he@d! Is there any 100000000000000000000000000000000% out of 100% way to get a lucid? I know there isn't but I'm Pis$3d, so I'm asking anyway.

      Man, I hate this......
Now you're not remembering your dreams.. could it be that you're simply trying too hard?

SOBB, I am in no way a natural LDer! He$$ I've bought every friggin tape/cd/book/video/gadget/etc. and lucid dreaming is still hard and hit or miss for me (sadly more miss than hit).

Try just for a couple of days not worrying or thinking about becoming lucid and see if your dream recall comes back (without recall even if you managed to have an LD you wouldn't remember much or any of it). Once you're able to document at least one good dream in your journal then try for lucidity again.

I know it's small consolation to know that you're not alone in your struggle but maybe it stings just a little less.
