      WBTB Question

      Hi, have a little question.

I'm using the WBTB technique, as one of my techniques. But I have a little problem.

When I have to wake up in the night, I have it on vibrations (my phone), and it used to work, but now it doesn't work every night anymore. Why not have it on sound? Because I don't wanna wake my family. And I'm turning it off, like it was a question about life and dead. And when I wake up like this, my recall is bad. I don't like to wake up with a chock like that.
I can definitely feel, that my recall is better, when I'n using the WBTB technique, and my chancen for lucid dreaming is bigger.

      What should I do?

First off I am glad you are using several techniques at once, this is a great idea!
So the problem is you want to wake up without waking your family, why not stick some headphones on. Only downside is that it is really uncomfortable to sleep on your side!
      Any more questions, just ask!

      Thanks Arch!

I've tried that once, but the alarm wouldn't be in the headphones, so it happened anyway.
Oh, and I really can't sleep on my back.

      Buy an alarm, they're like £5 ($10)

It would be 50 DKK - I think I can handle that!

      I'll try it. Thanks!

      Hey Pandabear
I used to have the same problem, but I bought a pillow with built in speakers, so when I have my head on the pillow it's REALLY loud, but if you don't have the head there it is just a low sound of an alarmclock that doesn't disturb anyone. If you can find that kind of pillow it would be the solution to your problem. But then you need a device to use a docking station, I use my Iphone.

But you can also just affirm to wake up at a specific time!
When I did Micheal Radugas techniques I used affirmation or autosuggestion, to make myself wake up, you can try that as well.
I could even tell myself the exact time I wanted to wake up and it worked.

      But also:
When you are more aware of your dreams, you will notice your micro awakenings.

Hope that helped you somewhat and good luck!

Hi Choi, thanks for your answer.

Uhm, this pillow sounds a little expensive, and I don't have an IPhone.
I've tried that, and I guess it's what wakes me up now, but as I said, it doesn't work every night. But I can try some more.

      Okay. Thank you.

      Cool, thanks for the link.

Is an IPhone necessary, or can a normal smartphone be used too?

You can use what ever device you want as long as it can connect to the pillow with that kind of cable. My God it was impossible to explain in English, but I hope you understand
But the device you use need to have an alarmclock function of course, the pillow is actually designed to be used as a relaxation tool when you fall asleep, but I use it as an alarmclock with the help of my Iphone.
