In my opinion, try to get to where you can recall at least 1 full dream a night, not a few fragments.

      ^Listen to this guy.

However nobody can tell you if you're ready. You're simply ready when you think you're ready. Don't otherthink it

Good luck with your lucid endeavors.

Getting your recall up is great. Are you writing them in your dream journal? But, that's just one part of preparing yourself. The other part is practicing your reality checks, mantras and daytime awareness. If you have done that, then I would go for it. Happy dreams

If you feel your prepared, go for it! Look into all the different lucid techniques and choose one that best suites you. Then find some guides and start practicing! Take your time and be positive...you will get lucid soon.

How to Increase Daytime Awareness: Just randomly in the day notice little details around you. What does everything look like? Feel like? Smell like? Pay attention. Be aware. You can read this tutorial for more info.

Thanks mancon, I'm just gonna add:

Another great tutorial for raising your daytime awareness - SAT - sporadic awareness technique.

And mantra is a phrase/sentence that you say to affirm your intent. For example, as you falling asleep, you keep saying 'I remember my dreams'. It lets your mind know, what you want to happen and it will help you achieve it. You can have a mantra for many different things. happy dreams
