Furthermore I already have set out what I want to happen when I get lucid but non of that stuff I had planned while awake even occured to me. |

So last night I finally did it, I got somewhat lucid. Thing is it was like the dream knew I was trying to be lucid and despite getting very excited, I only tried to fly. I think what it was was that I've been trying to get lucid for months now and I think the dream was designed around me being lucid but not fully aware. I feel if I was fully aware, on my first lucid I just planned to try to notice how detailed a dream is and possibly speak to someone in my dream. It just seemed it was less me being actually lucid and just the dream making me think I was or something. Cause I still carried on with the tasks that the dream had set me (I had to find an inhaler for a fameous underground British rock guitar front man called Matt Bigland). Anyone else had this or can anyone give me an explanation as to what might have happened? |

Yeah its common to have different levels of lucidity / awareness. Just keep practising and utilizing reality checks once lucid. Also waking life memory - when in a dream, is just as bad as memories of dream - when awake (in most beginner cases) though with practise you will do it! |
