a "hobby"l for dreaming check.

i've read about lucid dreaming just recently and I was totally engulfed by the "beauty" of it(infinite posibilities

). They say that the dream world when your lucid and at the REM period looks pretty similar to reality. Actually at this one I want to confirm it. Does it really look like "reality"? the 3D world?

there also different types of dream state. can one only lucid at the REM stage?

and also. will ones subconscious "copy/act" your hobby when dreaming? ive been experimenting some things. in the movie "inception" they had the so called "reality check" so i tried to create a "hobby" which i label on my mind a "dreaming check". though dont if it'll work. just want your feedbacks on it

First of all, not EVERY single lucid looks the exact same. For me, about 90% of my Lucids looks as realistic as real life, some even more. For me, the more regular Lucids I started to have the more vivid they were.

You are more likely to become lucid in the REM state but it is possible to be lucid in the other stages.

I don't know exactly what you mean. By hobby do you mean doing reality checks? The more you do reality checks in real life, the more likely you will do one in a dream. So, yes it carries down.
